Chaplet of Divine Mercy

Praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
We will be praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in the Church every Thursday before morning Masses. Please join in this powerful prayer with St. Mary parishioners. Jesus told St. Faustina: “Encourage souls to say the chaplet which I have given to you. It pleases Me to grant everything they ask of Me by saying the chaplet. When hardened inners say it, I will fill their souls with peace and the hour of their death will be a happy one.” (1541)

Divine Mercy Chaplet with Dying

Barb Fiedler is starting a new ministry at St. Mary: Praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet at the bedside of the seriously ill and/or dying person. A prayer team of two will come to your loved one and pray at their bedside. This ministry is a “fruit” of those who have participated in “33 Days to Morning Glory” and “Consoling the Heart of Jesus” including consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Call Barb at 970-978-4340 or make a request at [email protected]. You must call ahead so arrangements can be made.

Jesus spoke to St. Faustina about the rich salvific grace received when a soul places Trust in Jesus’s Mercy. The following quotes are from St. Fautsina’s diary.

“Whoever places his trust in My mercy will be filled with divine peace at the hour of death (1520)

“When they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My father and the dying person, not as a Judge but as the Merciful Savior. (1541)

“At the hour of their death, I defend as My own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when others say it at the bedside of a dying person, God’s anger is placated, unfathomable mercy envelopes the soul, and the very depths of My tender mercy are moved for the sake of the sorrowful Passion of my Son.” (811)
