Family Catechesis

What is Family Catechesis? Family Catechesis recognizes parents as the primary educators of their children in the faith. In this model, parents and children learn together through monthly family sessions, creating opportunities for faith formation that extend naturally into your home life.

Why This Change? Our goal is to encourage and equip parents to fulfill their God-given duty and privilege of educating their children in the Catholic faith. Research shows that when families learn together, faith formation becomes more meaningful and lasting for both children and adults.

Who Can Join? The Program is geared towards building a community of families. Everyone is invited to join, learn more about their faith, grow in community, receive the sacraments, and volunteer to help lead breakout sessions and classes.

When will it meet? Family Catechesis will meet all together one Sunday a month. OCIA candidates will then meet weekly through Corda at the Cathedral. Families of children needing the sacraments will meet one additional Sunday a month.

Family Catechesis begins September 21st at 11:15 A.M.

Families - $60.00 | Individuals - $45.00
